The last Day of 2008
Good afternoon from Manila!
(Its Dec.31st here, I'm a day ahead!)
I'm in a state of the art internet kiosk and I thought I would try to transfer a few images from my trip so far onto my blog for the readers that haven't abandoned me during my adventure.
The trip has been excellent so far. I've eaten some things that human's shouldn't eat, met some amazing people, experienced the market and even a trip to the spa with Tito Rey ($800 pesos...$18 hour and a half spa treatment?) riding in a tricycle in the rain was a highlight too.
Anyways getting to know this culture has been rewarding. I love the philippines so far...plus the US dollar is stronger then hulk hogan in his glory days.
Alright...I just fouhnd out that my drive won't work in this boatanchor of a computer. I'll try posting them later. FUHHH! (UPDATE: I just uploaded some!!!!)
Until later(While I'm blasting off fireworks and celebrating the new year 19 hours before you do.) Cheers!

Until the 14th.
Its true. I'm leaving for a few weeks to go explore the world. Take some memorable life changing images and see things I've never dreamed of seeing. This next two and a half weeks will be an adventure. I'll try to post images and stories, but nothing is guaranteed. When I get back I'll be dropping the new blog and filling it with imagery.
Dave and Donia's Wedding : LOMO
This Dave and Donia wedding post will have to be my last before my trip. Have no fear though, the amazing blog SNIPPET&INK will be releasing the "Snippets" from the wedding on their site in early 2009. Go visit S&I if you haven't already. Beautiful translations of what weddings should look like. Go get inspired.
As I'm packing up my gear to travel to the other end of the globe, I can only think about 3 things, here they are: Packing the right electric adapter,How pumped I am that Josiah is carrying on the Mustache buton and these LOMO shots I took from David and Donia's wedding. I wanna merry this little camera.

QisforQUAIL
I photographed the lookbook campaign for QUAIL clothing (QisforQUAIL.com) today. I worked with some great people and produced some excellent work. Take a look at a few of the images. I'm hoping one of these shots will change your life, make you want to buy some clothes from QUAIL and then elect me as president of your local rotary club.
Cheers to this being my last shoot before my trip to the Philippines!

Car crash victim sues rescuer.
This is obviously not the car crash. I just love this picture.
This is whats wrong with our country.
Is it like that around the world too, or just here? We're sue crazy and it makes me stir crazy!
Take a look at the story HERE.
Moral of the story:
Don't help anyone for fear of being sued.
ERRRRRNNNTTT. Wrong.
Make sure to ask the person if they would like to be helped before you carry them to safety. Keep looking for people that may need a hand.
Some people shouldn't be rescued though...spinal injury victims are one of them. neck injuries... thats another.

My Family and Christmas
I miss them.
This is the first Christmas that I've been away from my family since I was in Indonesia with Ira in '04. And to think I'm missing a white Christmas??? Awww, not only do I miss my family, but I miss the Christmas of old, the traditional one filled with homemade food,a cozy fire place,Christmas carolers coming to the doorstep, you know chestnuts roasting on the open fire.
This year, the thing I'm looking forward to the most is a sports game? Things have changed... I miss tradition... I miss my family. I am lucky to have Jo-Dilly down here though. Love that kid!
This was one of my first blogs...its about Christmas and how to really celebrate. find it HERE

Rod "Scum" should step down
I hate to hate like this... but come on Rod, I know 25 people that would be a better choice for governor... step down. Our country doesn't need you right now. We need you behind bars for this crime.
CHICAGO —Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich of Illinois, who has been accused of scheming to sell President-elect Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat, said on Friday that he would not resign and insisted that he had done nothing wrong, saying defiantly, “I will fight, I will fight, I will fight.”-NYTIMES

Ingram Family Shoot
I was able to photograph the Ingram family for their Christmas Portraits.
Cory and Emilie are quickly becoming some of Audrey and I's favorite people. They are Audrey's other family. She's a nanny for Keegan and Kendall and couldn't be happier.
Here are a few quick photos of our shoot!

Lady Gaga anyone?
This Lady is a little Gaga.Love her style, but little more. I'm Not sold on any of her music yet...Except ONE song. "Just Dance" although thats not good enough to get on this world famous blog, her style is good enough and maybe even the tip of the iceburg.
Checkout that lighting bolt? So what do you think? Pop culture, is it your thing? Is she a one hit wonder on her way out or a icon just getting started? If its the latter, I hope she starts busting out sounds I like and I hope its fast!
Loud, 80's,feminine,sexy,different... maybe its just this era's Vanilla Ice.

Audrey's LA Birthday Party
Audrey's birthday party in LA.
Limo to Monsoon's.
Monsoon's to (horrible) club called "The Highlands" If you know whats best for you, DO NOT go to this Disaster of a place. HORRIBLE management, bad service disgusting excuse for a dance club.
Anyways, the highlight was some of Audrey's friends (Ben and Will) contributed to make Audrey's 21st a success!
I think Audrey had a great time and she's 21 now!!! Which is a big burden off my shoulders, I can now take my girlfriend to concerts and lounges in LA.
Happy birthday Audrey!
