X Games practice or just wild Sunday?

Went to Saddleback Church today.
Not impressed with Rick Warren. Felt like I was getting one of many sales pitches for his book. Ultra theme park feel. A friend of mine Sheena Fiktarz (One of my Alumni Brides) led worship. Shes extremely talented and I hope she puts out an Album. The main highlights of the day were:

1.Chillen With Audrey (Mi Novia)
2.Watching Kyle Loza practice for the upcoming X-Games
3.Getting a rush of my own from jumping of the crane into the foam pit. (See video below)

Heres a few pictures from Kyles jumps.

(Pause Blog music before starting)

I made it outa the pit alive and I'd do it again... prolly not a back flip though.

1am journal excerp.

January 31st (1am)

Just showered, creamed up (That sounds bad...I meant put lotion/IcyHot on)(IcyHot does wonders to legs that have walked 20 miles in one day!) Now I’m lying in bed seeing my trip being half complete. I have 4 mas days here and I wish it were only 2. AHH! Miguel & I walked everywhere but the playa. I took over 300 pictures.
Anyways, I went to the ball game, watched Habana play Rio (not de Jenir)(sp) Didn’t stay the whole game, but didn’t meet up with the youngsters @ 9pm… I didn’t know the walk to the stadium would be 3 miles & nearly 1 hour walk…geez! So its late, I’m not as anxious as b4, but still home sick & ready to see my lady.
I think this trip has done a lot for me thus far. I’m less prideful, my ego has been pounded w/ humility(try being forced into being an introvert and a foreigner all in one). I feel closer to jesus. (he’s the only one that understands my language) I also miss Audrey A LOT.
Cuba is bizarre. People, cars, homes, water, restaurants, even sometimes I feel like the sun is controlled by the government. Oh what its like to have a socialist authority looking over your shoulder at all hours (besides now, in my bed...at least I hope!)

I've been reading Acts in the Bible and finding out just how hard of times Paul had on his journey to Rome while in chains...this experience is challenging, but oh sooo easy when I put it in perspective to Paul's story.
Thanks Jesus for keeping me in your watch and loving me through this adventure.

Alright, manana is sneaking up fast.

Puerto Vallarta isn't bad

First Night Sunset

Its tropical here.
Pictures turn out better.
I'm getting tan.
Fun people (Eddie, margo,Bruce and Mike are great!)
Here are a few images from yesterday.
I'll post some from our road trip today if you care.

They're flying back to the states tomorrow. At that point I will be heading to Mexico City and hopefully beyond.

Try to keep you posted... specially my Audrey still in the LongBeach rain.

Eddie on the boat inside a cave.

Not sure what I was talking about here.

These fish were feisty and would often nibble...not a highlight getting bit on the fingers by these little colorful fish.

I went in anyways.

Happy hour is always happier with a little mariachi(even if the accordion player belonged in a tone deft club)

Amazing sunset last night!!

Alright, I'lll post some from today when I get a chance! I have to go eat dinner!!!

Cheers friends in the rain!
Come join me, I'll be in Mexico City tomorrow night, I'd be ore then happy to share a flat...unless your like those nibbling fish!

No more draught in Long Beach!

Tons of rain lately!
We're scheduled for alot more this week! So, we might as well get used to it. (well not me, because I'm leaving town)
Heres an idea...Do what Audrey did here and Embrace it.
Rain is classy and always better for classic pictures. Unless your allergic to water on your skin, or humid air, get out in it. Oh! and acid rain! No Bueno...but also not in LB.

Audrey loving the rain.
Alright, so maybe she didn't embrace it with the umbrella and the "RainCheck" expression, but still...
