Who do I have a bigger Crush on?

I have a huge crush on
Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa, she's gorgeous!
But, I also have a man crush on Kobe, he's the best basketball player on the planet and he plays for my favorite team!
I saw them both on TV while watching the VMA's on Sunday night. When I didn't care for who was going to win the best music video award & I just wanted to see more of Kobe and Vanessa Bryant...I knew I was obsessed.

Goodspeed on your recovery from pinky surgery Kobe. I'm sure Vanessa could help you recover pretty fast.

Anyways, I just needed to voice that.

USA vs. Greece

Lebron James rising for a dunk against Greece

I'm in love with our USA Men's basketball team. "The Redeem Team" as they've been dubbed are rolling strong to a GOLD medal. Its an exciting time to be a basketball fan.
Last night, (or this morning rather) they took down a very strong Greek team by a score of 91-69. Another game closer to the shiny gold medals.
Dazzling dunks, great shooting and like I said before... an All Star cast... Our guys are just having fun over there.

Next Game: Vs Spain...lets see what you men can do... Kobe vs. Pau. This will be an extremely good game to watch... I'll be watching a Hi-Res replay on nbcolympics.com

Keep it up men!

The Olympics are here (08.08.08 )

Heres why the 2008 Olympics are good (and why I smell Gold)

USA Mens Basketball=KOBE BRYANT,Dwayne Wade,L.James,Chris Paul,Jason Kidd,Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh,Tayshaun, Boozer, Chris Bosh,Carmelo, Michael Redd and Deron Williams

•The best beach volleyball womans duo in history. We have them...Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh

Michael Phelps. The kid isn't human. he is a fish. Go Phelpasaurs! (sorry Jon, I had to use your nickname just once on Michael)

Bonus, it'll be fun to watch:
Spain's Pau Gasol.
(Basketball)
China's Yao Ming (Basketball)
Jamaica's Usain Bolt (Track and Field)
China's Liu Xiang (Track and Field)

Although this has been a particularly sticky Olympic situation with the whole communist government and all, but we support a communist government everytime we buy an iPhone or a pair of cheap sunglasses. (or make a trip to Cuba)

I find this a little Disturbing, but how else did they come up with that funny logo?

An Architectural Olympic challenge? Which wins the gold?

GOLD
Quite the building... (you know how everything in this country is phallic? Well, I think in China, its opposite)

SILVER

Say hello to the Birds Nest. Another Venue for Athletic Events at the Olympics.

BRONZE

Let the Games begin!

Poor lakers

We(they) played horribly tonight.
They lost 131-92.
All we can do is look to next season.
We did good this season...we made it far, Lakers really made me more of a fan. I'm looking into season tickets next year.

Here are the changes I would recommend for next season.
TRADE: Radmanovic.
get rid of D.J Mbanga
Get Josh Childress... I like him.

Get Bynum back. We have a good season ahead of us.
Good job Celtics for dominating us on the boards and on the steals. We turned over the basketball too many times!
Paul Pierce. I can't stand you.

I almost got in a huge fight at the restaurant I was at. everyone started cheering for the celtics with about 30 seconds remaining in the game... I turned around and said "Oh now your celtics fans??? Go back to Boston you idiots!" the big man at the bar who looked like he was a mix between a sumo and karate fighter told me I was more gay then the lesbians that I was yelling at...so I told him to meet me in the back where we could hash this out like men... I paid my bill and he was no where to be found. where is Ralph when I need him.

Lakers, how can you lose so bad??? I even bought an original 1980's T-shirt with your logo all over it!!! You let me down!

Now its time to get back in shape!!! No more taking nights off of the gym for Laker games. Time to get ripped!

I'm out...my heart is ripped out, this is my team, I've really been in a love affair and I'm sad to see it over...until next season.

The Rivalry is back!!!
Welcome back 80's.

The 80's are back!

As are the Lakers vs. Celtics Rivelery!

Game 4!

Its tonight.
I'll be sportin my 1980's T and yelling for my team at a local PIZZA joint... or maybe Tantalum... we'll see. I was thinking Mai Tai, but their TV's are super high up!
Keys to the Lakers tying up the series.
Lamar getting 15pts, 12 rebounds.
Pau getting 18pts 10 rebounds
Kobe being Kobe
Shutting down Peirce again (that freak)
Sasha and Ronny turning up the heat would be nice too.
Radmanovic is due for a big game anyday now!
Should be a good game!
Watch the game, or check stats on your computer. Be a fan!

Magic and Bird in the 80's Kobe and Garnett in the now.
Lets do this lakers!

I have to post this!!!
Here are the lakers celebrating in the team jeep after tonights WIN.
lets party lakers

Kobe "Beef" Bryant MVP

MVP

Yup, he did it. Best player in the league for the 5th year in a row, but the first time to get the award. Good work Kobe and the lakers.

I like this quote...

"Mr. Bryant, since you keep saying that this is a team award, I'd like to know if you will be buying your teammates gifts."

--Lakers teammate Luke Walton on Kobe Bryant winning his first MVP award.

Kobe Bryant Averaged a team high 28.3 points per game to go along with 5.4 assists and 6.3 rebounds a game. He led his team to the #1 seed in the tough as ever Western Conference.
He is averaging 34.3 points per game in his last 6 playoff games.

Go Lakers and Go Kobe!

The Lakers

Oh my! I suppose its about time to come out and say it, I've been holding it in for awhile and only my close friends know this, so here goes... I AM A HUGE LAKER FAN!

Its not that I haven't been a fan for the past 4 years. Its not that I've been ashamed of being such a fan (its just I've been too busy to write anything about my obsission)Anyways, this whole season I've been hooked! And it helps that they're on track to win big this year, also its nice to have newly aquired Pao Gasol, as well as a nearly healthy Kobe "Beef" (errr, bean) Bryant...Anyways, our team is good this year, so go support them.
So if you live in LA (or know where the Lakers play when they come to your town),buy 2 tickets, then strap on some purple and gold, pick me up and then we'll go to the game:)
Now that they're doing good, ticket prices have soured and I'm stuck watching stats on my computer, or being anti-social and peaking at the play-by-play on my Apple iPhone during a study or meeting...So point being; I need press passes; to sit courtside and shoot pictures of the pride and joy of Los Angeles, Kobe,Pau,Lamar,Fish and hopefully A.Bynum soon!

Alright, enough about that, I feel relieved thats off my chest!

Good luck with your Roadtrip lakers, you have your work cut out for you!
New Orleans,Houston,Dallas and Utah...4 of the top teams the NBA has right now.
Lets sweep this trip!

P.S. Poor LA. Clippers... I wonder if they could move to San Diego... or Long Beach?
