Ellen and Andrew's Shoot

Ellen and Andrew came knocking on my door for some superb imagery to document their love for eachother, advertise their upcoming marriage and to portray who they are and things they enjoy. I gladly agreed.
After idea after idea, we came up with an amazing plan! An afternoon Sunday picnic in the woods... It ended up starting to pour down while we were shooting, so the umbrella came in handy. I love these few images. There are plenty more amazing shots, but I can't show you too much, I want there to be some mystery for when they show you themselves!

+ I have a sweet SLIDESHOW coming tomorrow afternoon!

Enjoy!

Not all of my clients are this adventurous... but its nice when they're down for anything!
Here you see them climbing through fences per my request.

Stanford is gorgeous!

Here's a sample of images from our shoot today.

Tomorrow morning back in Long Beach. Its crazy to think I'm only an hour flight away right now...that and a $55 taxi ride. its more expensive then Brooklyn to JFK ($32) Craziness!

Helicopter Shoot

Another flight. A few hundred more pictures. More desire to become a pilot myself.
Here is what inspires me.
I'm off to the gym to work on my future Pilot's body.

1950's Engagement

Matthew and Victoria came to me with an idea for their Engagement shoot. I admitted they had good ideas and agreed to shoot. On the day of the shoot I cruised every bit of the downtown Long Beach area, Queen Mary terminal, Long Beach Port and the ghetto part of downtown. I ended up finding some good spots and with the help of Matthew and Victoria's fun attitude, plus their connection to a 1950's Cadillac Coup DeVille, we got some slick photos that will forever be apart of this couples history.

Take a look.

I love this kinda Cuban feel.

Their interaction was great!

Katie's shoot

I was able to shoot an old friend recently.
Katie Krapf lives in Sacramento, but was down for the weekend. She needed some updated images of herself and contacted me! Good work on tracking me down and arranging this spur of the moment shoot! I love it!

Heres a few more of my favorite images all of which were shot at my (*whisper*) secret locations :)

The Engaged's Couple's Fashion shoot

Last week I had the privilege of photographing some of my favorite people on the globe.
Heather and Eric will be getting married this August and needed some images to get things started off right. After talking and considering shoot options, we all decided on making this shoot not your typical "Engagement shoot". I was happy to hear they knew of a great location in Fallbrook where we could shoot this 1940's era Couple's Fashion shoot. These extremely talented individuals not only know how to dress for a shoot, but they know what do do in front of a camera as well!
I'm really happy with the way these images turned out and I'm looking forward to taking part in their wedding, as well as enjoying seeing them as a married couple. A cheers to Heather and Eric!

I liked the shoot we did, so much energy, great lighting, the scenes were stright from out of a movie and everything fit together just right!
